Custom private label apparel crafted for brands

If you sell uniforms under your own brand, every label, button and bag has to say your name, not ours. Benjima makes private label uniforms for workwear brands, uniform distributors, boutique labels and service companies who want a range that looks established from the first delivery, without building a factory of their own.

We take care of the making for you: proven silhouettes or your own designs, fabrics, sizing, woven labels, branded hardware, retail packaging, sampling, bulk production, quality checks and shipping. You have one contact person throughout, and every detail that carries your brand, from the neck label to the hangtag, is approved by you first.

Private label ranges are judged up close, by customers who notice a scratchy label, a cheap-looking button or a hangtag that feels thin. We get those small things right on the sample, so your brand looks finished and confident from the very first delivery.

Custom private label samples approved before bulk packaging

Every private label order starts with a branded sample: the garment in your chosen fabric and colour, with your neck label, care tag, buttons and packaging in place. Hold it, wear it, wash it and show it to a buyer or two before you commit to bulk.

Branded samples usually take 7 to 10 business days. If a label colour, button finish or tag size needs changing, we change it on the sample. Once you approve it, the sample becomes the standard for your bulk order, and every piece is checked against it before it is packed in your branding.

How a private label uniform is put together

The video shows a private label order on our factory floor: weaving damask neck labels, cutting and sewing the garment, attaching your engraved buttons and zip pulls, adding hangtags and barcodes and packing into your branded polybags. Your order follows the same path, and we send photos at each stage so you know exactly where it stands.

Launching a label means getting partners, buyers and sometimes investors to picture the finished product. Share the video with them before you order and use it to agree on the details that matter most to you, whether that is the feel of the neck label, the finish of the buttons or the way garments look on the shelf.

Why uniform brands build their ranges here

Low minimums, careful branding details and one contact person who looks after your label from first sample onwards.

Launch with low minimums

Start at 50 units per style, with sizes mixed in that number. You can test a niche, keep inventory lean and add styles as sales build, without tying up cash in stock that does not sell.

Proven silhouettes, faster

Our core polos, shirts, trousers, scrubs, chef coats and outerwear are already patterned and tested, so you add your branding and skip the cost of developing patterns.

Your designs stay yours

Patterns, artwork and grading files are protected by NDA and never offered to other clients. Samples are not used in our marketing without your written permission. Your customer lists stay private too.

Reorders that keep you stocked

Quick reorders on core silhouettes ship in 15-20 days, and replenishment keeps the same 50-unit minimum. Your labels and specs stay on file, and if a date moves, we tell you first with the reason and a revised plan.

Branding that survives daily wear and washing

A private label range is only as good as it looks after months of use. Neck labels are finished with soft heat-cut edges so they do not scratch during long shifts, and care labels stay readable after repeated washing, in the languages your markets require.

Button and hardware plating is nickel-free and rustproof, so it resists discolouration from detergents and kitchen chemicals. Your brand details still look sharp long after the first wash. Colours on woven labels are matched to your Pantone shades at sampling.

Your identity runs through every detail. We weave high-density damask neck labels, print satin care labels in several languages, add silicone size tabs and embroider chest emblems, all with your logo, font and Pantone shades. Rubber badges and leather patches can brand jackets, caps and aprons on the outside too.

Hardware is a quiet signal of quality. Buttons can be laser engraved or rim embossed, and snaps, eyelets and zip pulls carry your mark in metal or moulded rubber, in matte black, antique bronze, brushed silver or polished chrome. We match hardware tone to fabric colour at sampling.

Packaging finishes the job. Frosted recyclable logo polybags, heavy retail hangtags with scannable barcodes, tissue wrap, garment carriers for suits and printed outer cartons make your range look established on arrival, whether it goes to employees or straight onto store shelves.

How do you launch a private label uniform range successfully?

A strong private label range starts small and grows with demand. Before you order, it helps to decide three things: which silhouettes to launch with, how your branding will appear and how much stock to hold. Get those right and expanding later becomes much simpler.

Pick your launch silhouettes

Most new labels launch with a handful of proven styles rather than a full catalogue. Ready-to-brand polos, shirts, scrubs or work trousers get you to market quickly, and custom cut-and-sew designs can follow once you know what sells. Our pattern makers can develop those when you are ready.

  • Choose core silhouettes when speed to market matters more than a unique cut.
  • Choose custom cut-and-sew for a signature style competitors cannot copy.
  • Ask about recycled polyester and organic cotton if your customers value sustainability.

Plan the branding

Decide which details carry your name: neck labels, care tags, buttons, zip pulls, hangtags and polybags. Labels can be produced in volume and held at our factory, ready for every future run, so repeat orders never wait on trims.

Customers judge a label by the small things they touch every day, so those details deserve the most care.

Keep stock lean

Low minimums let you order what you expect to sell, then restock as demand appears. Mixed size runs mean you are not forced into equal quantities of every size, and fabric holding options help secure material for repeat runs. That protects your cash while you learn which styles your customers buy.

Comfort that keeps your customers coming back

Repeat orders depend on how the uniform feels to wear. These four comfort details are built into every private label piece.

Labels that never scratch

Ultrasonic heat-cut edges keep neck labels soft against the skin, so staff are not tempted to cut them out mid-shift.

Fabrics that keep their shape

Wrinkle-resistant shirting and anti-pilling knits stay presentable through repeated washing and long working days, season after season, in hotels, clinics and kitchens.

Hardware that lasts

Rustproof, nickel-free buttons and snaps stay comfortable on skin and hold their finish through regular commercial laundering.

Sizes that fit

Every silhouette is graded and tested in production, so sizes are consistent across your whole range.

Private label ranges for every market you serve

One factory behind your whole catalogue, so labels, colours and quality stay consistent from your first style to your fiftieth.

Frequently asked questions

Which private label branding elements can you customise for us?

We customise woven neck labels, satin care tags, silicone size tabs, engraved buttons, branded zip pulls, rivets and snaps, retail hangtags with barcodes and printed polybags and cartons. You can brand as many or as few details as you like. We will show each element on your sample so you can approve the look and feel before bulk production starts.

What is the minimum order for private label uniforms?

You can launch with 50 units per silhouette, and mixed size runs from XS to 5XL are included within that minimum. Replenishment orders keep the same minimum, so you can restock steadily as sales grow instead of buying large batches upfront.

Can I put my brand on your existing core silhouettes?

Yes. You can choose from our proven polos, dress shirts, scrubs, chef coats, work trousers and outerwear, and add your own branding. It is the fastest route to market because patterns and grading are already tested. It suits new labels especially well.

Can you make custom cut-and-sew designs under my label?

Yes. If you want a silhouette nobody else has, our pattern makers can develop custom CAD patterns and make garments to your measurements and styling. Those patterns stay exclusive to your label and are kept on file for future reorders.

How long do sampling and bulk production take?

Fully branded samples take 7 to 10 business days. After you approve the sample, standard bulk production is completed within 18 to 25 business days, while quick reorders on core silhouettes ship in 15 to 20 days. You get dates for each stage with your quote and photo updates as the order moves.

Do you supply barcodes and retail-ready packaging?

Yes. We print EAN or UPC barcodes, attach retail swing tags and pack garments into branded frosted polybags or display boxes. Your stock arrives ready for store shelves or for handing straight to employees.

What do custom woven labels and trims cost?

Woven labels and hardware moulds are made at direct factory cost, and we include them clearly in your quote. Labels can be produced in volume and held in our warehouse, so they are ready for every future run without a new setup or delay on your side.

How do you keep my private label brand confidential?

We work under non-disclosure agreements and never disclose your brand, supply arrangements or designs to competitors or third parties. Your patterns and artwork stay exclusive to you, and we do not use your samples or photos in our own marketing without written permission.
