Tested before bulk orders
No bulk kit is made until you have tried the sample in a real lesson and approved it. That sample then sets the standard for colour, print, fit and seams across every size.

A PE kit has a tough life. It is pulled on in a rush, sweated in through circuits and laps, stuffed into a bag and often left there until the next lesson. Benjima makes school PE uniforms for schools, academies and uniform retailers: gym shirts, shorts, tracksuits, hoodies and leggings in your colours.
We manage the whole order for you, from fabric and fit to house colours, printing, sampling, production, safety checks, packing and delivery. You have one contact from your first message until the kit reaches your school, and nothing that affects the finished garments goes ahead without your approval, from the shade of each house colour to the size of the crest.
That matters because PE kit fails in familiar ways: shirts that stay damp, seams that rub, kit that smells by Wednesday. We look for every one of those problems on the sample you test, long before your bulk order is cut and sewn.

Before any bulk, we make a sample kit to your specification, in your colours and with your crest and house details. Let a pupil wear it for a lesson, wash it and check how it feels and dries. If anything needs to change, we change it on the sample.
When you approve it, the sample becomes the standard for the whole order. Colours, print quality, fit and seams are checked against it on every piece. The kit your pupils pull on at the start of term is the kit you already tested, washed and agreed on with your PE department.

The video follows a PE kit order from fabric to finished set: the light performance fabric being cut, house colours and crests printed into the cloth, flat seams sewn, shorts finished with their waistbands, and every garment passed through safety and quality checks before packing. Your order takes the same route, with photos sent to you at each stage.
Show it to your PE staff, your head or your uniform committee before ordering. Seeing how the kit is made helps everyone agree on what matters most, whether that is the weight of the fabric, the cut of the shorts, the house colours or how each kit is bagged and labelled for pupils.
Would you rather talk it through? Send us a message with your questions and we will arrange a call at a time that suits your staff.

Kits you can test in a real lesson, honest advice on cost, and one person to call.

Red, blue, green, gold or your own palette, in complete four-house or six-house sets. Mixed house colours can be combined within one order to reach the minimum.
House crests, mascots and mottos are printed into the fabric by sublimation, which has no separate setup charge for each colour, keeping multi-house kits affordable, even for larger schools with six houses.
Every garment passes through needle detection before it is packed, so no broken needle fragments or metal pieces end up in children's sportswear. Lots are also audited for quality at several stages, with photos and dates sent to you.

A PE kit left in a bag between lessons soon starts to smell. We treat the fabric with a silver-ion antimicrobial finish that stops odour-causing bacteria from building up, and it is tested to keep working through 50 washes, so freshness does not fade after the first term.
Fleece hoodies and track bottoms have a brushed inside that stays soft and resists bobbling. Seams are checked for stretch, so they move with the fabric rather than popping during lessons. We check both on your sample.

Build the kit your curriculum needs. Each piece can be made in your colours, with your crest and your own labels.

Light, breathable PE shirts in micro-mesh fabric that dry quickly between lessons and in the bag.

Lined or unlined shorts with a flat, non-twist waistband and a safe internal drawcord for every age.

Full-zip tracksuit tops for outdoor lessons and sports days, warm without slowing pupils down.

Brushed fleece PE hoodies that keep pupils warm on cold playing fields and on the way home.

High-waisted leggings in a fabric that stays fully opaque when pupils bend and stretch.

Colour-coded house singlets for athletics and sports day, so every team is easy to spot.

House competitions work best when every team is easy to spot from across the field. We make PE shirts and shorts in matched colours for each house, whether you run red, blue, green and gold or your own palette, and print your crest, mascot or motto directly into the fabric.
Because the print is part of the fabric, it does not crack or peel after hot washes. Colours are matched to your references and checked on the sample, so the blue house kit this year looks the same as next year's reorder and the year after.
Kits can be packed in individual bags with a size label and a space for the pupil's name, or boxed by year group and house. Your designs and colours stay on file, so topping up for new pupils mid-year is quick and simple.
The right PE kit keeps pupils comfortable while they move and still looks good after a year of washing. Three choices matter most before you order: the fabric, the cut for each age group, and how your school and houses will appear on it.
Lightweight polyester mesh and interlock fabrics pull sweat away from the skin and dry far faster than cotton, so pupils do not sit through the next lesson in a damp shirt. Stretch in the fabric lets them sprint, jump and bend freely, and flat seams stop rubbing.
PE kit has to fit a small first-year pupil and a tall senior student. We grade sizes across your full age range, with cuts for boys and girls where you need them, all checked on the sample for comfort.
Think about the coldest lesson of the year and the sweatiest one. The kit should handle both.
Sublimation prints your crest, mascot and house colours into the fabric itself, so nothing peels or cracks and there are no setup charges for each colour. Embroidery suits hoodies and jackets where a raised crest looks smart. Your sample shows exactly how each method looks on the real fabric.

Pupils move more in PE than at any other time of the school day. These are the four things we get right.
Light performance fabric moves sweat to the surface where it dries quickly, so pupils avoid the chill of a damp shirt after exercise.
Flatlock seams lie flat against the body instead of forming a ridge, so there is no chafing during circuits, laps or gymnastics.
Mesh panels under the arms and along the back let heat escape where pupils warm up the fastest.
Non-twist elastic waistbands and safe internal drawcords keep shorts in place through running, jumping and games.
One supplier for the whole PE range, so colours, crests and sizing stay consistent across every year group and house.

Your kit order runs in five steps, from first message to delivery. You approve each one before the next.
Start your orderSend your colours, crest, house names, the pieces you need and rough numbers by size, with your term date, and we reply with options and a quote.
We send fabric samples, colour references and a size chart, so you can choose with confidence before anything is made.
A sample kit is made in your colours with your crest and sent to you to test in a real lesson.
Bulk production starts, with every piece checked against your sample and passed through needle detection.
Kits are bagged by pupil or boxed by house and year, then shipped to your school with tracking.
The minimum is 50 sets per style. You can combine PE shirts, shorts, fleece hoodies and track pants across your full range of sizes within one order, and mixed house colours count towards the same minimum. That makes it practical for smaller schools too. Tell us what you need and we will confirm a quote for your kit.
We use light polyester micro-mesh, birdseye and stretch interlock fabrics for shirts and shorts, chosen to move sweat away from the skin and dry quickly. Hoodies and track pants use brushed fleece. We can send swatches before you decide, so you can feel the difference for yourself.
The fabric is treated with a silver-ion antimicrobial finish that stops odour-causing bacteria from building up. It is tested to keep working through 50 washes, so kits stay fresher for longer, even when they are left in a bag between lessons.
Shirts and shorts are sewn with flatlock seams that lie completely flat against the body. There is no raised ridge to rub, so pupils avoid chafing and irritation during running, circuits and gymnastics, even in the most active lessons of the week.
Yes. We make matching PE kits in each house colour, in four-house or six-house sets or in your own palette. House mascots, mottos and your crest are printed into the fabric, with no separate setup charge for each colour, so a multi-house order stays affordable.
Sample PE kits are usually made and delivered in 6 to 8 business days. Bulk orders usually take 16 to 20 business days from your approval to dispatch, and we plan the timing so kit arrives before your term starts.
Yes. Every garment passes through a calibrated needle detector before packing, so no broken needle fragments or metal pieces are left in children's sportswear. It is a simple check, but it is one we never skip on any order, large or small.
Kits can be packed in individual bags labelled with the size and a space for the pupil's name, or boxed in master cartons sorted by year group and house. Either way, your staff can hand kit out quickly without sorting through cartons on the first day of term.
